Situated across the street from the Circo Massimo is Rome’s roseto. The garden is home to dozens of species of roses, and is only open for a few weeks a year. In fact, many of the roses had already expired or were on their way out. However, a leisurely stroll through the garden still made for a lovely Sunday afternoon, followed by a walk across the river to Trastevere and an aperitivo and gelato.

Ragazzi, non potete immaginare quant’e’ bella Roma a primavera!
